Students receive instruction from experienced IT experts at Vatterott College in Sunset Hills.   The Diploma in Network and Information Systems provides instruction on integrated software applications, programming concepts and language, database management, and internet applications. Additionally, computer programming courses cover web and application development, file systems and databases, HTML, SQL, Visual Basic concepts, C++, Java and much more.

The objective of this program is to prepare the graduate for entry-level employment as a computer programmer or related positions such as a database administrator, a network administrator, a network technician, a web designer, a multimedia developer, or a help desk specialist in the information technology field. The Diploma in Network and Information Systems in Sunset Hills consists of 60 weeks, 72 Quarter Credit Hours of computer programming and network technology theory and associated lab work.

Facilities
Computer programming courses at Vatterott College in Sunset Hills provide software and hardware meant to help students learn efficiently. Library and computer labs are open additional hours to provide work-study time outside of classes.  Also, enrollment provides each student online resources such as library services, a student portal, email and online companion courses.
Career Outlook
According to the Department of Labor, employment of computer and information systems managers is expected to grow 17 percent from 2008 to 2018, which is faster than the average for all occupations.  Job opportunities should be excellent, particularly for those with formal network training or experience, and certification.
