The students in the Bachelors of Computer Science and Information Systems Technology program receive expert instruction by IT professionals in each computer science course in Sunset Hills. The program offers classes in English Composition and Algebra prior to completing additional programming courses such as database design, systems analysis, Java, Visual Basic, Oracle and relational databases. Classes cover computer hardware and software, file management, command line programming, Front Page, introduction HTML, C++, SQL, database design and maintenance, LANs, client-server technology, JavaScript, VB.NET, ASP.NET, firewalls, database objects, IT project management and much more. Students learn real-world application of computer programming and networking systems through labs and technical hands-on training. In addition to a Bachelor’s degree, these computer programming courses prepare students for the following certifications:
The objective of this computer programming degree is to prepare the graduate for programming certifications and to obtain an entry-level position in the information systems industry. The program consists of 170 weeks, 168 quarter credit hours of computer programming courses and associated lab work and 45 quarter credit hours of general education totaling 213 quarter credit hours.

The computer programming courses in St. Louis provide computer labs equipped with software and hardware meant to help students learn efficiently. Labs are open additional hours to provide work-study time outside of classes. Enrollment provides each student online resources such as library services, a student portal, email and online companion courses.
