The Industrial Control Technology program at Vatterott College - Kansas City offers students experienced instruction, as well as hands-on industrial control training. The Industrial Control Technology training will introduce students to residential and commercial heating and cooling, as well as programmable logic controllers. Course topics include transformers, induction motors, single and three phase power distribution, humidity controls, thermostats, circuit diagrams, electrical heating and cooling equipment, pipe fittings, boilers, conductors, national electric code, conductor installation and much more.

The objective of the Industrial Control Technology program is to prepare the graduate with theory and working knowledge to work in the field as an entry-level Industrial Control technician. Graduates of this program will possess general awareness of power generation and distribution, electrical components, and theory of solid-state electronics.  The Industrial Control Technology program lasts 90 weeks and is 108 total quarter credit hours.

Facilities
The Industrial Control Technology program at Vatterott College  - Kansas City provides ample classrooms and a specific area for electrical and HVAC courses. Library and computer labs are open additional hours to provide work-study time outside of classes.  Also, enrollment provides each student online resources such as library services, a student portal, email and online companion courses.
