The Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) training program at Vatterott provides students with the opportunity to complete a portion or all of the CDL training necessary to assist them in securing a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL). CDL training begins with an introduction to fundamental knowledge of commercial driving, vehicle inspection, control systems, and reporting procedures. The Commercial Driver’s License training program progresses to cover more advanced training during the behind the wheel (BTM) driving experience, which includes exercising basic controls, executing shifting, managing vehicle speed, and night operations. Successful students of the CDL training program will be eligible to test for the Commercial Driver’s License.
